Left me in Stitches:)

Bead It Two is here and I have been assigned someone!  I was so excited that iIscrapped all the stitch markers I made last week as "practice" and made more.  I have no clue what I will send to my person tommorow, Chris will help me decide.
Image hosted by Photobucket.comHere are most of the ones I have made over the past week and tonight. Close ups are just below.

Image hosted by Photobucket.comThese are great! Once I got the hang of the tools the markers stared coming out perfectly.  I got them snag free!  Here are my favorites out of the whole lot.

Image hosted by Photobucket.comThese are a mess! They fit sz 8 needles and smaller.  I was "practicing" with these so they will become my official sock markers:) Can't send these to anyone, it would be embarassing!

Image hosted by Photobucket.comGot The sheep and sissor charms from Knits for Sanity, Laura. So cute as stitch markers right?

Image hosted by Photobucket.comOnce I got the hang of the tools these are the products of tonights work!  I love them they are great.  I have made lots of earrings for family and friends but never took pics:(

Now I am gonna have a yarn and bead obssesion.  My poor husband!  I still haven't heard word on my SP5 and I am anxious to start shopping for them!!!! Today was crazy for me both the boys have pink eye in both eyes! I watch my twin sisters two boys during the day while she works (they are exactly the same age as my two boys) they have pink eye also.  Like I said Crazy Cranky day for us all!

I have joined SP5 and I am awaiting my secret pal assignment! I really need to post my interest and such to my blog so my SP can get to know a little more about me.  Here are a few things: I like any yarn except Red Heart and  yarns similar to it. I love anything llama (they are super cute).  I do some beading (I am in Bead it Two). I like teas, coffee, lavendar. I could use some pattern books for kids and accessories.  Feel free to get me used items it will not offend me:) I really like surprises, so I am very excited!

I have to admit I have been slow to read all of my daily reads lately:(  I really enjoy catching up with you guys and look forward to dedicating some down time this week with ya'll!  I have to sell stuff on ebay so wish me luck!

My Tempting is going well, I have been busy with the kids and tend to crash at night instead of knit:)  I suspect it will be done in the next two weeks.  Here is a close up below, notice the beaded stitch markers.

Here is the RAOK that I got from "knits for sanity".  She and I are signed up for Bead it Two and I look forward to using all the goodies that she gave me.  She made me this really pretty blue anklet shown in the pic.  I wear a lot of sandals so I will get good use out of it:)  It is soooo pretty.

Got these tools on sale!  They were such a steal at 50% off!  I stated making my stitch markers with these beads and head pins.  I am still waiting for my split rings to get here.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Here are the stitch markers I have made so far (minus the split ring).  I even tried to bend the head pin to make my own loop and it fits a size 8 needle, on the botton left..

I purchased some Amethyst to make some earrings. It is really pretty.

Everything has been going okay around here.  DS got out of school for the summer, he will be attending summer school though.  The 3 month break is too much for the austic kids so they get to go in the summer.  Brandon's party went well, just family.  Of course he made a complete mess and we got loads of pictures!!!!

Hillard is the best:)

My son Hillard is autistic as many of you already know. I never try to post anything to personal on my blog because this is my "escape" or "hobby". There are many days that I think to myself "He isn't going to make it, he just can't get it" and it pains me that Hillard is just beyond our grasp. Then we have our good days when he really reaches back and I think to myself "he is gonna make it in the world!" Chris and I don't bring him many places because he really can't handle the crowds. He will sit nicely in a confined area like a stroller or shopping basket but their are certain conditions to be followed:)You MUST keep moving at all times and their MUST be goodies and bribs availble at every moment! If demands are not met he gets really uncomfortable and vocalizes. People tend to stare at us aa lot. After 3 yrs of this I am use to the stares he gets, but I still don't like it. This is why we don't go out in public places too often! Also Hillard is 4yrs old and he is getting way to big for these "confined" and "safe" areas. He is really begining to blossom as far as speech goes, he will repeat words to you, you just have to give him a good reason to speak and tell him what to say:) I LOVE my 4yrs olds VOICE!!!!!
We had a great day today and I thought I would post! It is Brandon's first birthday today and we went to babies r us to get some gifts. Hillard was so patient and played with all the toys and sat in the cart!!!! Brandon wanted everything, and we stopped for snowcones afterwards. I love my boys they warm my heart and they are such wonderful people:)
Happy Birthday Bran-Man!

Jen and I hit the yarn shops in a big way.  We went to Filati in Rocklin CA, A Room Full of Yarn in Greenville CA, The wool Room in Quincy CA, and last but not at all least JIMMY BEANS WOOL in Truckee CA.  I got to see CA again and the mountains were beautiful. It snowed the last night I visited and there was a lot of snow to be seen in Truckee.  Well, I built the stash pretty good:)  Just wish I had some more money for the other stuff I saw in the sale bins too!!!!  There is some Koigu in this pick that Jen's mom purchased for me, that is going to make the Clapotis!  With out further ado;

I've been TAGGED:)

Okay, since it is 2am and I am leaving for the airport in 2 hrs I will post only my answers and then tag people when I get back!!! I was tagged by two people so here it goes;

If I could be-
A Librarian- I was once one for 3 years and it was the best job I ever had!!!!
A Gardner- I would plant a lot of fruits and vegetables so I could have "organic" foods for my family without the outrageaous prices.
A scientist-that one is a given, I would find the cures for autism, ahlzimers, and juvinille diabeties. these diseases affect my family.
A llama rider- use it to attract other llama so i can shave them:) I can't spin though?
A linguist- Create a universal language!

10 of My Favorite Things (in no particular order)
1.Laying down in bed and my body aches, but that good ache:)
2.Knitting next to my husband while he enjoys his own quite time.
3.Bringing Brandon places and watching him flirt with EVERYONE!
4.Putting my kiddos to sleep and let them play with my hair to relax them.(They MAUL ME)
5.Watching my husband play with the kids.
6.Spending time with my parents.
7.Spending time with my twin sister.
8.Nap time!
9.Going on walks, or to the Park with the kiddos. most times I do this with my mother-in-law and I cherish it!
10.Bad Weather events, I track them like a dog!

By the way I thought I would share this funny tidbit! I am visiting Jenn and she wants me to bring frozen crawfish tails, I bought 4 packs for her and her mom. In my brilliant mind I thought sure i could pack these no problem. Gees getting these things packed in my bag has been my biggest accomplishment. I hope my clothes don't end up marinating in crawfish juice when I get there:) please look at post below for scenes of that yummy yarn DH was untangling!
