I didn't take pics of the other gifties... sorry folks, i just plain forgot!!! eeek..... I hope everyone had a great Christmas... I sure did.  My new hobby has taken flight and I got a lot of knitted realted items for Christmas this year.. yarn needles, a gift certificate to theknittinggarden.com ,and ATreasury of Knitting Patterns, from the parental units.

With my gift certificate I purchased yarn for a long sleave One Skien Wonder( GGH Samoa).... And enough yarn for a pair of socks,( Rowan cotton 4 ply) and Picovoli! (I intend to do that one with jeagar "trinity"... yummy silk and cotton!)

thanks for all the comments on that pitiful previous post :) missed ya'll!

Hourglass was beautiful, even though it was too big. Kudos to you for being able to rip it right away! If it were me, I might have bawled for awhile first. LOL I look forward to hearing how the Lampes Lumps yarn knits up!

Happy post-Christmas knitting! You've got some beautiful, fun new projects in the line-up! (What are your plans for the Lampes Lumps? I've "petted" that at kpixie a few times, and would love to see it worked up! AND Yarntopia will be carrying it! Oh, I'm in SOOO much trouble!)

Glad to hear that you enjoyed your holidays. What great family you have to give you knitty related gifties! Wow!

I love the color of the hourglass. It's gorgeous even though you have to rip it out. I know that it will be appreciated even if it's late.

I hope to start my hourglass soon and get back to blogging. I hope that no one forgot about me completely!

That's sad news about the sweater. Did it just stretch out too much in the wash? What kind of yarn?

I couldn't have ripped....I just couldn't have....I would have found someone to "fit" it. :) And gotten some new yarn for the real recipient. You are a brave girl

Aww, that is stinky about the sweater.. but it does look good from the pics if that makes you feel any better. Nice presents too! Isn't Noro great for bags?! I wish you and the family a very happy and healthy New Year :)
