RUN! It's a Beached Whale!

I should be extremely embarrassed for showing these chubby pictures:

Lets face it I am NOT worthy of this pattern! Actually if I was 6 sizes smaller, size 8, I may be able to pull this sucker off... If you think it looks good in the blurry photos then the camera is actually doing justice for me for ONCE! I look terrible in this and I am afraid it will be frogged; and a giant wrap shawl will be made in it's place... A shawl doesn't care how fat it's wearer is, it loves her for whats inside ;)
Pitty I have to go back to Yarntopia and buy the Oceane (french Girl) pattern now..
Needless to say I am depressed... This is why I don't shop for clothes anymore....Guess I had better take off those 30 lbs..... I lost 15 lbs. 2 or 3 months ago but put on 5.... atleast I didn't put all of it back on ;)

You are beautiful just the way you are, inside and out.

The sweater looks really nice.

Self portraits in the mirror are horrible for anyone!

I bet with a nice pair of pants or a less full skirt, it is fine.

Oh stop it! The top is great, you did a fabulous job & it looks great on you! Believe me, there are size 2 women looking at themselves & thinking how terrible THEY look.

I don't think you should frog it at all. Be proud of all your hard work! It's lovely.

Also, BTW, re: your comment at my blog about Mr. Martini, LOL...yes, Jack's one of his friends, along with Tom. :-)

I also think the top looks nice on you and I love the color with your hair. It just needs a different bottom, something like a denim skirt would be cute.

I really don't see what you see. I think the top looks good, but if you don't like it, you won't wear it, so better to frog it and knit something you like better.

I'm glad to see a picture of you (without your head cropped off). You look very much like my daughter. Same color hair and everything.

You look great in that top, I second everyone else when I say what a great color that is on you! I would probably put a different soft of top underneath, like a white or black tank to bring out the stitch pattern.

You are gorgeous, inside and out! Rock on woman! =)

Catherine, you look great. That top is just too cute on you, and the style and color are very flattering! Why-oh-why are we always our own harshest critics? Keep up the good work!

Cathrine let's look at this rationally...if you frog you are that much farther behind in your yarn diet goals! :)

Hey!!!!! Let's stop the negative talking!!! You look cute as a button. I'm at the same mental point, weight / diet-wise. I know how you feel! Use your frustration as a jumping-off point, but stay positive...you're your own best cheerleader. You go, girl!!!
