Back to Basics
Lets face it, I was meant to knit socks... atleast for now.... I consider this "heeling time". I need to heal from the scarring that occured late Saturday night. Not to mention 2 or 3 pairs of fab socks will boost the ego to try a garment again... Thanks for the tip Tracy on trying on sweaters and cardigans! great idea! why didn't I think of that? ;)
I got my Rockin' Sock Club package yesterday and what else can I say? WOW! BEAUTIFUL! I was going to dye up the same colors in self striping this weekend to put in my etsy shop! great minds think alike right? I would never compare myself to the artisians at blue moon, those ladies ROCK! But, I have already ordered the dye! So I will go as planned :)
So its time to sign up for the Sock Club again and its a bit more expensive than last year... I pre registred but I don't think I will be able to raise the money... thats okay I will raise what I can and just buy some "non club" yarn from them and have DH hide it around the house so when I find it , I will be surprised :)
colors I think I have to have?
Rocktober
Pucks mischeif
Rooster Rock Terra Firma More Dutch cnayon!
Down Pour
Jail House Rock
Some of those came from the January One blog... She posted a load that she bought and several of them I fell in love with :) What are your dream colors? we all do it! put stuff in our shopping cart, then think wow, i really need to close out this window before I actually buy all this!
have a safe week!

ThatRSC yarn is gorgeous! And you can definitely compare yourself to the Blue Moon artists because your yarn is just as lovely. I love that bottom pic, too cute!
Poor B is just worn slap out as they say in East Texas.

Looks at all that lovely yarn!
BTW my bloglines didn't update you so I missed your last post, eep!
Oh and I've been working on your yarn this week and it's knitting up lovely, pics to follow soon! =)
you could reclaim the yarn for a One Skein Wonder. I love the idea of trying on different styles of sweaters and seeing which you like. I also loved some of the tips from the book Big Girl Knits.
Your baby looks so peaceful. And exhausted.
I feel the same way about the STR club --it's definitely a little expensive for me. I registered too, but who knows, everytime I get a sock club shipment, I'm blown away!
Oh my I guess lunch really tuckered him out! Oh BTW here is another stripe to look at! :)

my i do concur: that STR club is getting up there! as much as i enjoyed receiving the yarn in the mail, i'll have to pass on the next go round.
and man, i know what it feels like to totally crash out on the floor. haha.
I'm with you...socks are healing time:D
Little projects that pack a big punch and provides that time in which I think.
I can't wait to see what that pretty yarn will look like.
The new STR yarn is pretty and maybe the new pattern will pull you out of your slump. What a tired out cutie pie!
Such a cute picture!
What a cutie.....I hear ya on the sock club. I love STR but can't do their club....
I love that picture! My little one falls asleep on the floor all the time.
Awww, what a great package you received, the yarn is so gorgeous! And I *so* love that pic of your little one, what a cutie!!!
