HANKy Tank Blue's!!

I wrapped my hank loops on either side of my chair arms and went to work making a ball. Well needless to say a few strays got in the way and whoops my HANK TANKED!!! My wonderful DH Chris is sitting behind me right now trying to untangle the mess. Lucky for me I got atleast half of it in a well organized ball, but I wish Chris the best:) I stood over him for a while and tried to snatch the yarn away but to no avail, he sent me to the computer! I will leave him to his work! Image hosted by Photobucket.comI suspect I will see a ball winder and swift in my future!!!!
Have a great weekend everyone.

I think your hubby must love you lots! I hate to burst the bubble here, but having a swift and winder doesn't mean you won't get horrible hanks that get twisted and knotted up. It's more about how the manufacturer twists up their hanks...

You've got a good one there! At least he is willing to help you. I need a ball winder too.

What a nice husband you've got!
Mine has untangled a hank or two, but only b/c he thinks watching me do it is too painful!

My mom, who supports my addictions, got me a swift and a ball-winder for Mother's Day-- please give me a call and come on over to use it any time you'd like! (It's too much fun-- doesn't take long, either!)

Is that Noro yarn? I had the same thing happen with my Noro Lotus. It knotted up really bad and took me some time to untangle and get it into a nice neat little ball.

It's really nice of you DH to help you out with that. He's got some patience.
