WIP's, Gifties, and Prayers

I decided to flash my WIP's... I want to get organized:)  So this is the Irish Hiking Scarf, I love how soft this is, Iused 100% alpaca from Elann.com.......

Here is the Hourglass Sweater...Unfortunately I have gotten very little done on this, I have until Christmas to finish!!!

Kool-aid socks, boy are ya'll sick of these yet? I sure am!!!! I should be finished by tonight if the kiddos go to bed early:)

I know I fell of the wagon, but for a good cause!!!  I bought yarn for pumpkin hats for the preemie project...I am waiting on my needles to come in and then I can start!  I got Caron Simply soft and some barnet to make normal hats too.

My prayers are really focused these days on the devestated families of the central gulf coast....I myself have very good memories of living in Ocean Springs MS, only 3 miles across the bridge from Biloxi... I lived on the beach and my church was one hill away from the beach.  My thoughts are sad b/c I can't stop thinking of my favorite childhood town. Whats left of it?  I cried when I saw what happened to biloxi, Gulfport, Pass Christian...... Chris's family is ALL from New Orleans,  This weekend we had trouble contacting a lot of them b/c phone lines were so full!!! Some have sought refuge here in Houston and others are in Baton Rouge, Lafayette (my origianl hometown), and Alexandria....My family ( brother, cousins, aunts and uncles) lives in Lafayette and they are all okay...We all have been through hurricanes but nothing this major..
